Why Did I Post 50+ Facebook Thanks Videos?

One Facebook Thanks video is a slightly kitschy but cute gesture.

Put 50 together and it starts to seem absurd.

It's still nice, and I tried to make sure that nobody I cared about didn't get one.

I'm doing this as a joke, but I also genuinely care about my friends and enjoy looking back at the index of our relationship.

This makes it slightly different than a simple "edgy" gesture. 

If there's one thing (societally) this serves to illustrate, it's something about Facebook's algorithms and how they impact our daily interactions.
And also how they can get it so, so wrong, as some of the more bizarre videos illustrate.

So yeah I'm pretty hilarious.
